Yes. The initial consultation is completely complimentary. It takes place virtually and allows us to understand your space, project scope, budget expectations, and design preferences before any commitment is made.

Is the design deposit per project or per bathroom?

The design deposit is per project, not per bathroom. This means we design all bathrooms within the same project under one design fee, ensuring consistency and cohesion across every space.

What counts towards the £12,000 threshold?

The £12,000 plus VAT threshold is calculated based on the total bathroom spend across the entire project, not per bathroom. It includes all products supplied by DDL Tiles as part of the design, such as tiles, brassware, vanity units, sanitaryware, lighting, mirrors, shower trays, accessories, and underfloor heating. When the combined total exceeds £12,000 plus VAT, the design fee is credited back against your order.

Can you design multiple bathrooms together?

Yes, absolutely. In fact, this is one of the main advantages of our service. Designing multiple bathrooms together allows us to create a cohesive palette, aligned finishes, and a consistent level of detail throughout your home.

Do you supply everything that is specified?

Yes. Everything included in your final design is supplied by DDL Tiles. This ensures accuracy, consistency, and a smooth ordering process with one point of contact throughout.

How long does the design process usually take?

The design process typically takes two to four weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the project, as well as response times during review stages. We always agree timescales clearly at the start of the project.

Can my installer use the design pack?

Yes. Your installer can work directly from the design pack we provide. It includes layouts, elevations, lighting plans, and full specifications, making it easy to install exactly as designed.

Are showroom meetings required?

The service is remote-first for convenience and efficiency. The final presentation takes place in our Watford showroom, by appointment, where you can view samples and review the completed design in person. Additional showroom visits can be arranged if needed.
